Rhonda Dale Burks

Rhonda Dale (Pinley) Burks, 71, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on August 1, 2026, with her husband and daughter by her side.

Rhonda was born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, on June 30, 1955, to Loy and Norma Pinley. She moved to Oklahoma City at a young age. She met the love of her life, Danny Burks, in November 1973, and they married the following August. She was a devoted and loving wife for almost 52 years. Their daughter, Mandi, was born in March 1984. Rhonda was a wonderful mother who made sure she was present at all of Mandi’s events throughout the years.

Rhonda attended Crossroads Church for many years, where she volunteered and served in numerous areas.

Rhonda was also a caring family member and friend. She made sure to send cards for every birthday, anniversary, and holiday, as well as notes of encouragement. She always had a kind word for everyone and made those around her feel loved.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Danny Burks; her daughter, Mandi Ratchford (Bryce); her sisters, Sandy Hooper (Darrell) and Gayla Zerbe (David); and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Loy and Norma Pinley.

She was a cherished wife, mother, family member, and friend, and she will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Church Chapel, 8901 S. Shields Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK.
