Obituary

Though the Kellner family lived in nearby Vici, Linda was born in Shattuck on October 2, 1951.

She departed this life on May 14, 2026, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 74.

In 1956, the Kellner family moved to Edmond, where Linda was raised and graduated from

Edmond High School in 1969. Shortly after graduation, she earned her cosmetology license and

began a career that would span four decades. Linda took great pride in her work and treasured

the relationships she built over the years.

Known for her strong work ethic and independent spirit, Linda rarely slowed down. Even while

chapter in 1999 as a flight attendant for a private company. Her work gave her the opportunity to

travel throughout much of the United States and to destinations around the world, experiences

she truly enjoyed.

In 1989, Linda married Kerrey Dan Cross, and together they joined their families in a marriage

that brought together six children — Linda’s daughters, Stephanie, Niki, and Emily, and

Kerrey’s sons, Don, Brent, and Keith. Family was at the center of Linda’s life, and she took great

joy in staying connected to those she loved. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures of home.

Taking pride in creating beauty around her home, especially working in her yard, and caring for

her plants and flower gardens. Linda cherished her many lifelong friendships, and some of her

happiest moments were spent visiting with friends, sharing laughter, and keeping those special

bonds close throughout the years.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Stephanie, Niki, and Emily; her stepsons, Don, Brent, and

Keith; her brothers, Randy and Larry Kellner, and her sister, Rhayma DeMasters; five
