Dorma Lee
Allensworth
Oct 14, 1930 — Oct 2, 2026
Our beloved Dorma Lee Allensworth was born October 14, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma in the home of her parents Dewey and Mattie Hill. She married Boyce W. Allensworth on June 6, 1952 and gave life to their 2 sons, William (aka Bill) and Boyce Jr. (aka Bernie). Passing at 95 years young, just shy of her 96th year in her body on October 2, 2026 in her home with family comforting her and her great-grandson holding her hand. She was so loved.
To say Dorma Lee was a fighter for life, would be an understatement to everyone that knew her and her experiences. Born over 2 months too early at a time when infants died at so early a gestation, her mother gently placed her in a shoebox wrapped in her father’s handkerchiefs as blankets and sat her on the oven door to keep her warm praying for a miracle. Speaking about life 95 years later was not just an amazing miracle that touched so many souls and spirits of Christ, but a spiritual servant and son of God that showed Christ in all she did day and night.
She was a pastor with her husband Boyce, of El Shaddai Temple from it’s birth until her passing. She spoke life and life more abundantly through our Lord. She loved reading the Bible and studying beyond its words to the heart of our Father Christ. She believed in her purpose and always prayed for God to fulfill His divine plan for her so that others could only see Him in the reflection of her life.
To call her a miracle, yes she was and she helped raise other souls to spiritual miracles in their lives moving forward. Preaching life, love and our Lord’s Kingdom were all she loved to talk about to anyone that would listen. Not everyone realized or understood her passion for life, but that never once slowed her fight or her obsession for Christ everlasting.
She will always be a pastor and mother to so many, a teacher and mentor, but also an important example of love and Life through Christ. She never wanted to die and was a fighter from birth and into her death.
She is preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Mattie Hill, all her siblings, husband of 65 years Boyce W. Allensworth, great-grandson David J (DJ) Abbey, and daughter-in-law Ronda Allensworth.
She is survived by her sons Bill Allensworth of Seminole and Bernie Allensworth, wife Jeanny of Cromwell, OK. Her 4 grandchildren and their families: William Dane Allensworth and his sister Dahna Abbey, husband David and her son Zane of Seminole; LaSumer Jolly of Cromwell, husband Ed, daughters Jasmine and Morgan and her sister, Melissa Baughman of Noble, OK, husband Adam, daughter Journey and son Ridge. But most importantly her legacy of El Shaddai Temple and all the family she spiritually birthed. She lives on through so many lives past and present. A legacy that will never die.
